📋 How to Use

  1. When the page loads, your public IP appears.
  2. Click Copy to put it on the clipboard.

Your browser requests a public HTTPS API (e.g. ipify.org) to learn the IP. Webooro does not store your IP on our servers.

✨ What “public IP” means

Your ISP or mobile carrier assigns a routable address. On VPN, you see the VPN exit IP.

This page does not infer your IP from server-side headers; the browser fetches it from a third-party API. See that provider’s privacy policy too.

Highlights

  • Shows your public IP without typing.
  • One-click copy.
  • Webooro does not store your IP on our servers.

Support tickets, firewall rules, remote access, and VPN checks.

Good use cases

  • Verify VPN is active
  • Send someone your current public IP
  • Check if your home IP changed after reboot
  • Paste into the IP location tool

Compared with other methods

curl and similar CLI tools work too; this page is convenient in a browser. The lookup uses an external API.

In strict security environments, follow corporate policy.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Is it really free?
Yes. This IP tool is offered at no charge.
Q. Do I need to sign up?
No. Use it directly on this page.
Q. How is the IP fetched?
Your browser calls a public HTTPS API (e.g. ipify.org) and displays the returned address. Webooro does not proxy or store your IP on our servers.
Q. What if I'm using a VPN?
With a VPN, the VPN server's IP is shown. Useful for checking that your VPN is working.
Q. Does it show IPv4 or IPv6?
It shows the IP used for your connection (usually IPv4). For IPv6-specific checks, use another tool.
Q. Does my IP address change often?
Home internet connections use a dynamic IP that can change when your router reboots or at intervals set by your ISP. Business connections and dedicated lines usually come with a static (fixed) IP.
Q. Is my mobile IP different from my PC?
On mobile data, you get a carrier IP address. If both devices are on the same Wi-Fi, they share the same public IP (the router's). Private IPs within the network are different per device.
Q. Can I hide my IP address?
A VPN or proxy replaces your visible IP with the server's address. However, your ISP and VPN provider can still see your real IP. No method guarantees complete anonymity.
